The Manager of Change Management is a motivated individual, proficient in multiple change management principles and concepts.  Drives change adoption and supports projects in conjunction with Shared Services to meet business objectives in the constant pursuit of better. This position includes the development, implementation, and success of change strategies.  This includes communication plans, learning plans, sponsor roadmap, and resistance plans in conjunction with the appropriate resources in the areas of human resources, technology, finance, and business stakeholders across the organization.

 

Required Experience for a Manager of Change Management:

  • 5 -7 years of experience managing and implementing change strategies.
  • Bachelor's Degree in business administration, organizational behavior, HR management, or education
  • PROSCI or other change management certification
  • Project management experience and knowledge in process improvement methodologies
  • Strong technical skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), especially Outlook and Excel
  • Managing multiple projects and timeframes simultaneously
  • Creating and presenting metrics, status, achieving and tracking milestones
  • Facilitating large group or team meetings of various levels of leaders

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Implement end to end change management plans so that business objectives are realized
  • Develop and implement change management plans, including communication plans, sponsor roadmaps and learning plans
  • Identify resistance and performance gaps across all levels of the organization; develop and implement corrective actions and coach all levels on gap closure
  • Influence others towards successful deployment of change management plans
  • Assess the likelihood of success, deliver industry proven solutions, and coach key stakeholders
  • Support other initiatives/projects in the company that may affect organization's performance; collaborate with necessary stakeholders
  • Perform post project analysis and reflection on success of change management initiatives; adjust processes according to learnings

  • Demonstrated ability to prepare, interpret and make decisions based on qualitative/quantitative data

General Working Conditions:

This position entails standing for long periods of time.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to communicate effectively with others, sit, stand, walk, and use hands to handle keyboard, telephone, paper, files, and other equipment and objects.  The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms.  This position requires the ability to review detailed documents and read computer screens.  The employee will occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The work environment requires appropriate interaction with others. The noise level in the work environment is moderate.  Occasional travel to different locations may be required.
