Position Summary:

The Regional Life Enrichment Director is responsible for coaching, training, developing and providing direction to a team of Life Enrichment Directors in order to successfully empower and inspire our residents to Shine.Everyday. This role requires strong leadership acumen in addition to effective coaching and mentoring skills. Strong interpersonal and communication abilities are required to ensure effective and timely interactions across functional areas.

 

Required Experience for Regional Life Enrichment Director:

  • Compassionate towards the senior population
  • Associates degree of equivalent from two-year college or technical school
  • Minimum of 3 years team leadership/management experience.
  • Expereince in Life Enrichment programs specifically in Memory Care and Assisted Living.
  • Demonstrated leadership, communication and presentation skills.
  • Must possess a high level of self-accountability and have the capacity to hold team members accountable.
  • Knowledge of basic financial acumen (P&L, Proforma, etc…)
  • Ability to conduct formal coaching sessions that are tailored to team accountability, goal achievement, and employee development plans.
  • Experienced in motivating and inspiring teams to achieve goals.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, complete assignments accurately, work independently, and manage time effectively.
  • Must exhibit a high degree of initiative and creativity, good judgment, and professional ethics.
  • Must possess strong leadership skills to work effectively both independently and as a team.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving; ability to determine solutions for clients.
  • Proficient in general computer skills.

 

 

Primary Responsibilities for Life Enrichment Director:

  • Work with Life Enrichment Directors on a consistent basis evaluating their interaction with residents and families, providing them with coaching and feedback on calendar creativity, life enrichment standards and overall performance and job duties.
  • Live and breathe our 1440 company culture by creating the absolute best experience with every person, in every interaction, every minute of every day.
  • Review and approve monthly calendar and newsletter.
  • Provide performance feedback each month. Provide leadership and strategic direction to Life Enrichment Directors in order to inspire and empower residents to Shine. Everyday
  • Work closely with Life Enrichment Leadership Team, peers and home office personnel to achieve objectives surrounding personal and team Life Enrichment goals.
  • Work closely with Executive Director at each community to share ideas and gather feedback about programming.
  • Spending adequate field time with direct reports to mentor, develop and drive results
  • Work with Marketing and Business Development Teams to share inspiring stories
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of team members long term goals and dream big ideas.
  • Basic knowledge of state licensure requirements for assisted living and memory care communities.
  • Prepares and manages all relative reports.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule to include evenings, weekends or “non-traditional” work hours as business demands dictate.
  • Travel Required.
  • The Rrgional Life Enrichment Director must obtain a CDL Class C Certification with Passenger Endorsment within 6 months of hiring.
