Position Summary:
We are looking for hardworking individuals with great energy, leadership, and initiative that can leverage their personal networks and professional experience to drive Common Sail’s continued rapid growth. The Marketing Manager is responsible for lead generation for the communities we serve. This role will be responsible for utilizing new marketing tactics, whether that be traditional or digital, serving as a liaison with digital agencies, creating marketing plans and following them according to what we know from historical data. Strong interpersonal and communication abilities are required to ensure effective and timely interactions across functional areas.

 

Required Experience for Marketing Manager:

  • 4-year degree in Marketing or related field. Equivalent work experience may be substituted for education.
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in marketing field. Digital marketing experience is a plus.
  • Superior time management skills, creative problem-solving skills and strong initiative to complete projects on time; must be able to work independently, multi-task and balance multiple projects at a time
  • Must exhibit a high degree of initiative and creativity, good judgment, and professional ethics.
  • Has a passion for understanding target audiences and various markets
  • Excellent communication skills and an overall ability to create clear and compelling communications orally and in writing.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with digital and advertising agencies.
  • Experience with marketing automation software.
  • Experience with CRM and Salesforce is a plus.
  • Compassionate toward the senior population.

Primary Responsibilities for Marketing Manager:

  • Create lead generation through multiple marketing channels; digital, traditional
  • Achieve or exceed traffic targets
  • Manage multiple timelines, projects, and budgets across various businesses
  • Forecast market trends based on historical data
  • Execute and deliver on yearly marketing strategies/plans in multiple markets
  • Accomplish organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests
  • Promotes the organization in a positive manner and sets the example for organizational standards for excellence.
  • Discovers and derives insights from market research and customer research
  • Performs additional duties as assigned or needed, including limited territory coverage when needed.
  • Travel 50%

General Working Conditions:
This position entails standing for long periods of time. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to communicate effectively with others, sit, stand, walk and use hands to handle keyboard, telephone, paper, files, and other equipment and objects. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. This position requires the ability to review detailed documents and read computer screens. The employee will occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The work environment requires appropriate interaction with others. The noise level in the work environment is moderate. Travel is required.
