Position Summary:
The Marketing Project Manager is responsible for coordinating day-to-day operations for the marketing team to ensure the success of the businesses we serve. The Marketing Project Manager must be able to navigate revisions to media and marketing plans effectively, be curious by asking questions to provide value-add to projects, mitigate risks related to scheduling and team resourcing and clearly communicate potential impacts to the cross-functional teams. This role requires great time management skills and attention to detail. Strong interpersonal and communication abilities are required to ensure effective and timely interactions across functional areas.


Required Experience for Marketing Project Manager:

  • 3-5 years of project management experience in either in-house marketing or ad agency.
  • Experience creating and managing project roll-out plans and marketing plans.
  • Experience working with multiple customers.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and complete assignments accurately; can work independently, and manage time effectively.
  • Must exhibit a high degree of initiative and creativity, good judgment, and professional ethics.
  • Excellent communication skills and an overall ability to create clear and compelling communications.
  • Must be highly organized, able to prioritize, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with digital and advertising agencies and production vendors
  • Ability to oversee/manage department budgets
  • Experience with project management software preferred

Primary Responsibilities for Marketing Project Manager:

  • Intake projects from multiple businesses
  • Perform Quality Assurance testing for all marketing projects
  • Manage multiple timelines, projects, and budgets across various businesses
  • Monitor budgets by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
  • Create and participate in developing processes with Marketing Operations Lead
  • Accomplish organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests
  • Explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
  • Promotes the organization in a positive manner and sets the example for organizational standards for excellence.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned or needed, including limited territory coverage when needed.


General Working Conditions:
This position entails standing for long periods of time. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to communicate effectively with others, sit, stand, walk and use hands to handle keyboard, telephone, paper, files, and other equipment and objects. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. This position requires the ability to review detailed documents and read computer screens. The employee will occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The work environment requires appropriate interaction with others. The noise level in the work environment is moderate. Travel is required.
