Position Summary:
Our HR Business Partner is mission-critical to our Employee First team and CSIG Holding overall. As a results-focused, innovative problem solver, the HR Business Partner's purpose is to maximize return on investment on the employees of CSIG Holding and within its portfolio of companies. Working side by side with our business leaders, the HR Business Partner does this through communication, problem solving, partnership and empathy by focusing on issues, such as motivation, ensuring our employees feel recognized, and by encouraging effective leadership.


Required Experience for HR Business Partner:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or equivalent business- related degree.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Human Recourses. PHR, SHRM-CP preferred.
  • Proven relationship and consultancy skills with a range of business leaders.
  • Strong interpersonal, influencing and conflict resolution skills; ability to communicate effectively with business leaders and employees in their own terms providing the basis for influence and insight.
  • Exceptional business acumen; understands how department goals integrate with company objectives. 
  • Must be results-driven with the proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
  • Ability to look beyond the HR function and develop positive relationships with all parts of the business.
  • Change-ready with an "eye on the horizon" to anticipate opportunities and challenges, and adapt and flex as necessary.
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills, including proven ability to work effectively in a matrix environment. 
  • Proficiency working with HRIS, ATS, LMS or other related HR systems.
  • Travel 10-20%


Primary Responsibilities for HR Business Partner:
Client Relationship Management

  • Act as a strategic partner to business leaders and an advocate for the employees - serve as a consultant to management on human resources-related issues.
  • Act as a go-to resource for hiring managers and employees; impact decisions through influence and expertise. 

Staffing & Talent Management

  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to understand the talent capabilities and gaps, as well as manage headcount requests and approval processes.
  • Help drive communication with site visits.

Performance Management

  • Drive continuous performance improvement.
  • Coach hiring managers on corrective action process- provide guidance and ensure consistency.
  • Organizational Design, Development & Change Management
  • Proactively partner with the Learning and Development team to meet development/ training needs of the business and create development road maps.
  • Review and guide development plans, coaching and 1440 engagement levels of identified "mission critical" individuals and groups. 
  • Assist with performance management and career develop programs and training initiatives.

Project Management & Leadership

  • Manage projects or participate as strategic partner for selected function-specific or multi-function HR initiatives. 
  • Direct and contribute to initiatives and processes within CSIG Holding and the portfolio of companies.

Compliance & Regulations

  • Serve as an HR liaison for HR policy, procedures and related questions.
  • Conduct thorough, legally compliant investigations- working through employee relations issues.
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal statues, laws and regulations including but not limited to all applicable compensation and hour laws, and regulations related to ADA, EEO, FMLA and OSHA.
  • Provide direction and participate in audits conducted by state or federal agencies such as the OFC.


General Working Conditions:
This position may entail sitting or standing for long periods of time. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to communicate effectively with others, sit, stand, walk and use hands to handle keyboard, telephone, paper, files, and other equipment and objects. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. This position requires the ability to review detailed documents and read computer screens. The employee will occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The work environment requires appropriate interaction with others. The noise level in the work environment is moderate. Occasional travel to different locations may be required.
