Position Summary:
The Travel Coordinator is responsible for scheduling and organizing travel for the company’s private plane. This involves coordination of; flight schedules, transportation, itineraries, agendas etc. This individual will manage existing and create new relationships with preferred travel partners. They will also be responsible for coordinating group travel throughout the organization.

 

Required Experience for Travel Coordinator:

  • Previous experience coordinating private flight travel is a HUGE plus. 
  • Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail is a must.
  • Confidence, assertiveness and ability to build relationships with C-Level executives.
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills, including proven ability to work effectively in a changing environment. 
  • Ability to work under pressure, handling last-minute complications while successfully producing results; comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Outlook.

 

Primary Responsibilities for Travel Coordinator:

  • Schedule and organize travel for the company’s private plane trips. 
  • Effectively communicate with all internal and external parties to ensure that private travel is efficient and organized. 
  • Coordinate with team members in all levels of the organization to establish the most time and cost efficient travel plans.
  • Process fast paced and ever-changing travel plans in a calm and professional manner. 
  • Build and maintain relationships with preferred travel vendors.
  • Provide best practice process changes as needed. 
  • Provide exceptional customer service.

 

General Working Conditions:
This position may entail sitting or standing for long periods of time. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to communicate effectively with others, sit, stand, walk and use hands to handle keyboard, telephone, paper, files, and other equipment and objects. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. This position requires the ability to review detailed documents and read computer screens. The employee will occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The work environment requires appropriate interaction with others. The noise level in the work environment is moderate. Occasional travel to different locations may be required.
