  • Overview

    The Salesforce Administrator is a subject matter expert that collaborates with senior leadership to leverage the Salesforce platform across multiple business lines.  Functioning as a business analyst, the person in this role is responsible for translating business requirements to provide recommendations, best practices, and deliver solutions that provide actionable insights.  The Salesforce Administrator also manages the day-to-day maintenance of the Salesforce platform, including user management, roles and profiles, workflows, security, and trouble-shooting. The ideal candidate has experience with design, implementation, and customization of successful Salesforce environments, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Pardot.  As a proactive problem solver driven to support the growth of the organization, the Salesforce Administrator has a direct impact on the success of the businesses.

     

    Required Experience:

    • 3+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator
    • Salesforce Certified Administrator strongly preferred
    • Advanced knowledge of Salesforce Reports and Dashboards
    • Proven attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem solving skills
    • Working knowledge of APEX, Visualforce, Salesforce APIs, SOQL, and Force.com platform
    • Extraordinary communication skills, both verbal and written

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and/or equivalent experience
    • Strong technical understanding of functional and technical system architecture
    • Experience leading at least one full life-cycle SFDC or CRM implementation
    • Able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical end users
    • Familiarity with migration process from Salesforce Classic to Lightning
    • Skilled at multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Support Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Pardot for users across multiple organizations
    • Create and maintain workflows, processes, and validation rules based on internal stakeholder requirements
    • Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with cross-functional teams to provide solution recommendations
    • Manage ongoing support requests, including escalated Tier 2 and 3 end user needs
    • Partner with leaders to assess Salesforce as a potential solution for their business challenges
    • Gather, document, and execute detailed specifications from high-level requirements with little supervision
    • Effectively manage competing priorities with multiple business stakeholders
    • Project manage implementations performed by a Salesforce Consulting Partner
    • Maintain integration of Salesforce with other applications and databases
    • Document changes to the design and implementation of Salesforce
    • Personal development to earn additional Salesforce certifications
    • Approximately 5% travel to and from company sites to meet with business leaders and end users
    • This position is not offered remotely and is based out of our Brighton, Michigan office
