    Position Summary for Windows Server Engineer:

    The Windows Server Engineer will be responsible for deploying, maintaining, monitoring and supporting all server-related infrastructure of the organization. This individual with have experience in building and configuring server technologies and be able to work closely with other departments to identify, recommend, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions in a project oriented environment.



    Required Experience for Windows Server Engineer:

    • Windows system administrating experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, IIS, MSSQL and other Microsoft technologies.
    • Windows Domain Management.
    • Network troubleshooting skills.
    • Experience working with Apple products is plus.
    • Networking troubleshooting skills.
    • Computer deployment skills.
    • Proficient at Microsoft Office Suite. (Word, Office, PowerPoint, Excel)
    • Strong oral & written communication skills.
    • Ability to multi-task & prioritize.
    • Organized & detailed oriented.
    • Ability to work independently as well as a team environment.
    • Good problem solving & relationship building skills.


    Primary Responsibilities for Windows Server Engineer:

    • Perform installation of new/ rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, and directories in accordance with standards and operational requirements.
    • Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures.
    • VMware administration to include upgrades to infrastructure, VM creation, configuring storage and maintenance.
    • Application of OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis and upgrade administrative tools & utilities.
    • Maintain documentation related to IT architecture, operations, and other records of work as required
    • Provide technical support and expertise in analyzing customer requirements including current network and system capabilities to ensure the SMS architecture will meet the customer's business objectives
    • Assist with the management of all project activity with success metrics being product approvals and successful implementations
    • Provide project planning and technical assistance with roll-out of products for customers
    • Work as part of a team to deliver the best possible service to the company & its vendors.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    • Up to 20% travel as needed.
