  • Construction Quality Assurance/Warranty Manager

  • Overview

    The Quality Assurance/Warranty Manager oversees each StoryPoint construction project through the punch process and one-year warranty period.


    Primary Responsibilities of a Quality Assurance/Warranty Manager:

    • Administrate, schedule, and maintain punch process
    • Ability to execute consistent process for each project
    • Coordinate installation & removal of sales center to bring back to the original condition
    • Model and common area readiness interior and exterior envelope of sales center and models
    • Successful transition of project from Construction team to Operations team 90 days prior to opening
    • Identify construction and operational issues through OAC punch process
    • Prepares the property and Development team for inspection readiness leading to Certificate of Occupancy
    • Closeout Management
    • Warranty process management
    • Ensure Operations satisfaction by working to deliver quality warranty services on a timely basis
    • Thoroughly understand all sections and components of Warranty Program and all vendor warranty programs
    • Coordinate and communicate all efforts to complete warranty process in a timely manner
    • Communicate any recurring warranty issues to Program Team and provide insight on possible plan changes to resolve issues
    • Travel 100%

    Required Experience & Qualifications for a Quality Assurance/Warranty Manager:

    • High School Diploma, GED, or college degree from an university or technical school; 3 - 5 years related experience in construction management and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in Senior Living construction
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals; ability to write routine reports and correspondences
    • Extremely organized, detailed oriented, track open items, ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form; ability to handle problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Procore, and other project management tracking software
    • Ability to work autonomously
    • Ensure quality exceeds our standards
